Conservative Group Best Attendance Record for Council Meetings

Councillor attendance figures for 2018/19 have just been released by Pembrokeshire County Council. The data shows that the Conservative group have clearly got the best attendance figures with an average attendance of 93.18%.

Sixty concerned residents turned out at a public meeting to come up with an action plan to save Laugharne’s historic Island House.

The Grade 2 * listed Tudor house is in a central location close the Castle in the town and has  decayed since its last occupant died 15 years ago.

Redstone Cross, just north of the town, is a notoriously tricky junction with traffic having to negotiate the busy A40.

The villages of Llansteffan and Ferryside are directly linked for the first time in 60 years thanks to a new ferry officially launched by Simon Hart MP.

“The Glansteffan” is an eight-seater amphibious vehicle which is running between the two Towy communities five days a week.
